BAKE BAR

BAKE BAR

An artisan bakery-cafe requires an artisan approach.

Commercial fit-outs are never easy; often being short on time and space. The challenge on this project was delivering a highly detailed finish in a tight turnaround so our client could open their doors and do what they love.

We replaced the aluminium windows with timber framed operable windows to help open up the space to the street, while meeting with the required heritage overlay of the streetscape. Custom external furniture with stainless framework and Corian solid surfaces provides this quaint corner shop front with some desirable alfresco seating.

There's a number of beautiful finishes within the project, such as the herringbone floors and solid brass detailing (a nod to the original character of the building), while providing contrast with the more current palette of New York marble, vertical Deco Wood joinery panels, and matte white baton tiles.
