BARCOM

Inner city luxury at its finest. This three bedroom, two bathroom Darlinghurst semi was a pleasure to renovate.

While the project was predominantly a full internal refurbishment, through our quality procedures we identified a number of external water ingress issues. These were resolved first to provide the client peace of mind.

The ground floor required structural walls to be removed to meet the design intent, this made way for the new open-plan kitchen and its interface to the living/dining area. A new bathroom and European laundry were realigned along the hallway corridor to better utilise the ground floor space. Our favourite feature of the kitchen is the beautiful cast in-situ terrazzo floors, which incorporated underfloor heating.

The living and dining room was improved with the full height joinery and mirror to open up this area and provide the perfect space for entertaining and relaxation. The bathroom and ensuite showcase great use of porcelain surfaces in 'Lux Jade', and create a fantastic statement tying in nicely with the antique brass fixtures and fittings, and natural joinery veneers.
